جوزيف عون هو الرئيس الرابع عشر للبنان، تولى منصبه في 9 يناير 2025. وُلد في 10 يناير 1964 في سن الفيل، لبنان. عون كان قائد الجيش اللبناني منذ 2017، حيث قاد الجيش خلال العديد من الأزمات بما في ذلك الاحتجاجات الشعبية في 2019 وانفجار مرفأ بيروت في 2020. عون معروف بنهجه غير الحزبي والتركيز على الأمن الوطني. توليه الرئاسة جاء بعد فراغ رئاسي دام أكثر من عامين، حيث حصل على دعم واسع من مختلف الأطياف السياسية في البرلمان اللبناني

Joseph Aoun is the 14th President of Lebanon, assuming office on January 9, 2025. Born on January 10, 1964, in Sin el Fil, Lebanon, Aoun has been the commander of the Lebanese Armed Forces since 2017. He led the army through numerous crises, including the popular protests in 2019 and the Beirut port explosion in 2020. Aoun is known for his non-partisan approach and focus on national security. His presidency came after a more than two-year presidential vacuum, receiving broad support from various political factions in the Lebanese parliament
