جوزيف عون

جوزيف عون هو قائد الجيش اللبناني الحالي، حيث تولى منصبه في شهر مارس من عام 2017. وُلد عون في بلدة بيت مري في لبنان عام 1964، وبدأ مسيرته العسكرية في المدرسة الحربية عام 1983. تدرج عون في الرتب العسكرية حتى وصل إلى رتبة عماد.
خلال فترة قيادته، واجه الجيش اللبناني تحديات عديدة من بينها مكافحة الإرهاب والحفاظ على الأمن الداخلي. عون معروف بجهوده لتعزيز دور الجيش اللبناني في مواجهة التحديات الأمنية المعقدة وتحقيق الاستقرار في البلاد. وقد حظي باحترام واسع من مختلف الفئات في لبنان بسبب نزاهته والتزامه بمصلحة الوطن.

Joseph Aoun is the current commander of the Lebanese army, having assumed the position in March 2017. Born in Beit Mery, Lebanon in 1964, Aoun began his military career at the Military Academy in 1983, rising through the ranks to achieve the position of General.
During his tenure, Aoun has faced numerous challenges, including combating terrorism and maintaining internal security. He is known for his efforts to strengthen the role of the Lebanese army in addressing complex security challenges and achieving stability in the country.
