خالد بن سلمان آل سعود هو أحد الشخصيات البارزة في المملكة العربية السعودية. وُلد في 1988، ويعتبر أصغر وزير دفاع في تاريخ المملكة. شغل منصب نائب وزير الدفاع منذ 2019، وقبل ذلك كان سفيرًا للسعودية في الولايات المتحدة.
خالد بن سلمان تلقى تعليمه في جامعة الملك سعود في الرياض، وبعدها التحق بكلية تدريب الطيران في قاعدة كولومبوس الجوية بالولايات المتحدة. حصل على شهادة في الطيران من القاعدة الجوية الملكية السعودية، وهو طيار حربي مؤهل على طائرات F-15.
خلال عمله كسفير في واشنطن، كان له دور كبير في تعزيز العلاقات بين السعودية والولايات المتحدة، خصوصًا في فترة تزايد التوترات الإقليمية.
