منذ نعومة أظفاره، ظهرت على الملك فيصل علامات القيادة والشجاعة. ولد في 1906 كأحد أبناء الملك عبد العزيز، مؤسس المملكة العربية السعودية. انطلق فيصل في رحلة تميزه، وهو في سن الـ16، حينما قاد أول مهمة دبلوماسية خارجية إلى بريطانيا وفرنسا نيابة عن والده.
كملك، تولى فيصل العرش في فترة عصيبة عام 1964. ومنذ اللحظة الأولى، أظهر حنكة سياسية واستراتيجية مذهلة. بدأت المملكة تشهد تغيرات كبيرة في عهده، حيث سعى لتحديث البلاد وتقليل الاعتماد على النفط من خلال تنويع الاقتصاد. لم يكن فيصل مجرد ملك حكيم، بل كان أيضًا مدافعًا عن القضايا العربية والإسلامية، خاصة القضية الفلسطينية.
ولم يقتصر دوره على الإصلاحات الداخلية، بل لعب أيضًا دورًا محوريًا في الساحة الدولية. كانت خطته البارعة لقطع النفط في أعقاب حرب أكتوبر 1973 حدثًا عالميًا أثّر بشكل كبير في السياسة العالمية.
لكن، مع كل تلك الإنجازات، انتهت حياته بشكل مأساوي عندما اغتيل عام 1975. ذكرى الملك فيصل تظل حية في قلوب الشعب السعودي والعالم العربي.

From a young age, King Faisal showed signs of leadership and courage. Born in 1906 as one of the sons of King Abdul Aziz, the founder of Saudi Arabia, Faisal embarked on his distinguished journey at the age of 16 when he led his first diplomatic mission to Britain and France on behalf of his father.
As a king, Faisal ascended the throne during a tumultuous period in 1964. From the very first moment, he exhibited remarkable political and strategic acumen. The kingdom witnessed significant changes during his reign as he sought to modernize the country and reduce dependence on oil by diversifying the economy. Faisal was not just a wise king, but also a strong advocate for Arab and Islamic causes, especially the Palestinian issue.
His role wasn’t limited to internal reforms; he also played a pivotal role on the international stage. His ingenious plan to cut oil supplies following the October War of 1973 had a substantial impact on global politics.
However, despite all these achievements, his life ended tragically when he was assassinated in 1975. The memory of King Faisal remains alive in the hearts of the Saudi people and the Arab world.
