(العربي): لا يخفى على أحد أن صلاح الدين الأيوبي كان واحدًا من أعظم القادة العسكريين والسياسيين في العصور الوسطى. بحنكة وجاذبية، أعاد صلاح الدين الأيوبي رسم خريطة الشرق الأوسط من جديد. وُلد في عام 1137 أو 1138 في تكريت (العراق)، دخل صلاح الدين التاريخ من أوسع أبوابه عندما قاد الجيش الإسلامي لتحرير القدس من قبضة الصليبيين في معركة حطين عام 1187.
صلاح الدين لم يكن مجرد قائد عسكري، بل كان أيضًا رمزًا للحكمة والعدل. في زمن كان يتسم بالصراعات الدموية والخيانة، بقى صلاح الدين مثالًا يحتذى به في التسامح والرحمة. كان يتعامل مع أسراه بإنسانية، حتى أنه قدم الرعاية الصحية للملك ريتشارد قلب الأسد عندما كان مريضًا خلال الحملة الصليبية الثالثة.
يُذكر صلاح الدين ليس فقط بسبب انتصاراته العسكرية ولكن أيضًا لإصلاحاته وإدارته الحكيمة للمناطق التي خضعت لحكمه. بنى المدارس والمستشفيات واهتم بتطوير البنية التحتية، مما جعل من دولته نموذجًا يحتذى به في الرقي الحضاري والتنمية.

(English): It’s no secret that Salahuddin Al-Ayyubi, known in the West as Saladin, was one of the greatest military and political leaders of the Middle Ages. With his strategic genius and magnetic personality, Salahuddin redrew the map of the Middle East. Born in 1137 or 1138 in Tikrit (modern-day Iraq), he entered history’s grand stage when he led the Muslim army to liberate Jerusalem from the Crusaders at the Battle of Hattin in 1187.
Salahuddin wasn’t just a military commander; he was also a symbol of wisdom and justice. In an era marked by bloody conflicts and betrayal, Salahuddin stood as a paragon of tolerance and mercy. He treated his captives with humanity, even providing medical care to King Richard the Lionheart when he fell ill during the Third Crusade.
Salahuddin is remembered not only for his military victories but also for his reforms and wise administration of the regions under his rule. He built schools, hospitals, and focused on developing infrastructure, making his state a model of cultural and developmental advancement.
