الجزيرة هي شبكة إعلامية عالمية مقرها في الدوحة، قطر. تأسست في عام 1996 بفضل مبادرة من الحكومة القطرية. بدأت كمحطة تلفزيونية إخبارية عربية تتناول الأحداث والأخبار من منظور مستقل وموضوعي، وكانت من أولى القنوات التي قدمت تقارير إخبارية حية من مناطق الصراع والأزمات.
