حماس، أو حركة المقاومة الإسلامية، هي حركة فلسطينية تأسست في عام 1987 خلال الانتفاضة الفلسطينية الأولى. تعتبر حماس واحدة من أبرز الفصائل الفلسطينية وتتمتع بشعبية كبيرة في قطاع غزة. تهدف الحركة إلى تحرير فلسطين من الاحتلال الإسرائيلي وإقامة دولة فلسطينية مستقلة. تعتمد حماس على المقاومة المسلحة كوسيلة لتحقيق أهدافها، وقد نفذت العديد من العمليات العسكرية ضد إسرائيل.
