من أجمل المبادرات الثقافية العربية هو “تحدي القراءة العربي”، الذي بدأته الإمارات العربية المتحدة في عام 2015 بتوجيهات من الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم. الهدف الرئيسي من هذه المبادرة هو تحفيز الطلاب في العالم العربي على القراءة والتعلم، وبذلك يتم تكوين جيل مثقف وواعٍ بقضايا عصره.
تحدي القراءة العربي ليس مجرد مسابقة عادية، بل هو مغامرة تعليمية ومجتمعية تمتد عبر عدة أشهر، وتشمل مئات الآلاف من الطلاب من مختلف أنحاء الوطن العربي. يقرأ الطلاب خمسة كتب ويقومون بتلخيصها في جوازات تحدي القراءة، مما يساهم في تطوير مهاراتهم القرائية والكتابية بشكل كبير.

The Arab Reading Challenge
One of the most remarkable cultural initiatives in the Arab world is the “Arab Reading Challenge,” launched by the United Arab Emirates in 2015 under the directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
