But, not all of these predators are as terrifying as they seem. Studies have shown that great white sharks play a crucial role in maintaining the balance of marine ecosystems. By preying on large animals, they ensure the survival of weaker fish and maintain the health of coral reefs.
One of the most famous spots to encounter great white sharks is Guadalupe Island in Mexico. Here, adventurous divers can enter a cage and get up close to these magnificent creatures safely.
