ماجد عبدالله، الأسطورة السعودية في عالم كرة القدم، كان رائدًا ومصدر إلهام للكثيرين. ولد في الرياض عام 1959، وما أن شق طريقه إلى الفريق الأول لنادي النصر في عام 1977، حتى أصبح حديث الساعة. بأداءه الساحر وقدرته الفذة على تسجيل الأهداف من أي مكان في الملعب، لقب بـ “الجوهرة السوداء”.
خلال مسيرته، تمكن من إحراز أكثر من 500 هدف في مباريات رسمية، وهو رقم قياسي لا يزال يثير الإعجاب. قاد ماجد فريق النصر لتحقيق العديد من البطولات المحلية والقارية، كما كان له دور كبير في تأهل المنتخب السعودي إلى نهائيات كأس العالم 1994 للمرة الأولى في تاريخه.
