1 أبريل، المعروف باسم “كذبة أبريل”، هو يوم مليء بالمقالب والمرح حول العالم. يعود أصل هذا التقليد إلى أوروبا خلال القرن السادس عشر، عندما انتقل الناس من التقويم اليولياني إلى التقويم الغريغوري. في التقويم القديم، كان يتم الاحتفال برأس السنة في 1 أبريل. عندما تغير التاريخ إلى 1 يناير، استمر البعض في الاحتفال بتاريخ أبريل، مما جعلهم موضع مزاح وسخرية.

April Fools’ Day has evolved into a cultural phenomenon where people unleash funny and fake news, craft clever tricks, and confuse friends and family with imaginative pranks. One of the most famous examples is the “Spaghetti Harvest” prank aired by the BBC in 1957, which convinced viewers that spaghetti grows on trees!
