Born on August 6, 1969, in Holbrook, Arizona, Budenholzer’s journey in basketball began as a player at Pomona College, where he excelled in both basketball and golf. His coaching career took off when he joined the San Antonio Spurs as a video coordinator in 1994, eventually becoming an assistant coach under Gregg Popovich.
