الإسراء والمعراج هو رحلة معجزة قام بها النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم في ليلة واحدة. تبدأ القصة عندما جاء جبريل عليه السلام إلى النبي وهو نائم بجوار الكعبة، وأخذه إلى المسجد الأقصى في القدس على ظهر دابة تسمى “البراق”. هذه الرحلة تُعرف بالإسراء.
بعد وصوله إلى المسجد الأقصى، قام النبي بصلاة الأنبياء هناك، ومن ثم صعد إلى السماوات السبع في رحلة تُعرف بالمعراج. في كل سماء التقى بالنبي بأنبياء مختلفين مثل إبراهيم، موسى، وعيسى عليهم السلام. في السماء السابعة التقى بالله سبحانه وتعالى، حيث تلقى أوامر الصلاة التي تُعتبر ركناً أساسياً في الإسلام.
الإسراء والمعراج ليست مجرد رحلة زمنية؛ هي تجربة روحية عميقة تجسد الإيمان والصبر والثقة بالله. هذه الليلة تُحتفل بها في العالم الإسلامي ويُستذكر فيها قوة الإيمان ومعجزات الله.

The Isra and Mi’raj is a miraculous journey undertaken by the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, in a single night. The story begins when the angel Gabriel came to the Prophet while he was sleeping beside the Kaaba and took him to Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem on a creature called “Buraq.” This part of the journey is known as Isra.
After reaching Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Prophet led the prayer for the prophets there and then ascended through the seven heavens in what is known as Mi’raj. In each heaven, he met different prophets such as Abraham, Moses, and Jesus, peace be upon them all. In the seventh heaven, he met Allah, where he was given the command of the five daily prayers, which are a fundamental part of Islam.
Isra and Mi’raj is not just a journey through time and space; it is a profound spiritual experience that embodies faith, patience, and trust in Allah. This night is celebrated in the Islamic world and serves as a reminder of the power of faith and the miracles of Allah.
