On January 26th each year, India celebrates Republic Day, the day when its Constitution came into effect in 1950. This day is marked by one of the largest military parades in New Delhi, showcasing the Indian Armed Forces’ might and skill.
One of the highlights of this celebration is the Presidential Review, where the President of India inspects the Presidential Guard and honors national heroes. On this day, national awards are also bestowed upon war heroes and martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for the nation.
