ميشال عون هو سياسي لبناني بارز شغل منصب رئيس الجمهورية اللبنانية من 2016 إلى 2022. وُلد في 30 سبتمبر 1933 في حارة حريك، بيروت. انضم إلى الجيش اللبناني في 1955 وترقى ليصبح قائد الجيش في 1984. خلال الحرب الأهلية اللبنانية، عُين رئيسًا لحكومة عسكرية انتقالية في 1988. بعد انتهاء الحرب، لجأ إلى فرنسا وعاد إلى لبنان في 2005 بعد انسحاب الجيش السوري. أسس التيار الوطني الحر ولعب دورًا رئيسيًا في السياسة اللبنانية. انتُخب رئيسًا للجمهورية في 2016 بعد فترة طويلة من الشغور الرئاسي. خلال فترة رئاسته، واجه تحديات اقتصادية وسياسية كبيرة. المزيد هنا.
Michel Aoun is a prominent Lebanese politician who served as the President of Lebanon from 2016 to 2022. Born on September 30, 1933, in Haret Hreik, Beirut, he joined the Lebanese Army in 1955 and rose to become the Army Commander in 1984. During the Lebanese Civil War, he was appointed head of a transitional military government in 1988. After the war, he sought refuge in France and returned to Lebanon in 2005 following the withdrawal of Syrian forces. He founded the Free Patriotic Movement and played a significant role in Lebanese politics. He was elected President in 2016 after a prolonged presidential vacancy.
