تبدأ القصة في مكة المكرمة، حيث كان النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم نائمًا في الكعبة. فجأة، جاءه جبريل عليه السلام وحمله على دابة تُسمى البراق. انطلقت هذه الدابة بسرعة خارقة تجاه المسجد الأقصى في القدس. هنا تبدأ رحلة المعراج، حيث عُرج بالنبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم من القدس إلى السماء.
في كل سماء، التقى النبي بأحد الأنبياء، بدءًا من آدم عليه السلام في السماء الأولى، وصولاً إلى إبراهيم عليه السلام في السماء السابعة. هذه اللقاءات كانت مليئة بالحكمة والإلهام. وفي النهاية، وصل النبي إلى سدرة المنتهى، حيث تحدث إلى الله مباشرةً.
بعد هذه الرحلة السماوية المذهلة، عاد النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى مكة. وعندما أخبر قومه عن هذه الرحلة، انقسموا بين مصدق ومكذب. لكن المؤمنين زادت إيمانهم بهذا الحدث العظيم.

The Night Journey and Ascension, or Al-Isra’ wal-Mi’raj, stands as one of the most significant and inspiring events in Islamic history. It showcases the power of Allah and the esteemed position of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. On this miraculous night, the Prophet Muhammad was taken on a journey from Mecca to Jerusalem, and from there he ascended to the seven heavens.
The story begins in Mecca, where the Prophet Muhammad was resting in the Kaaba. Suddenly, the Archangel Gabriel appeared and brought him a mystical creature called Al-Buraq. This swift creature took him to Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem in no time. From here begins the Mi’raj, the Ascension, where the Prophet was taken from Jerusalem to the heavens.
In each heaven, the Prophet Muhammad met with various prophets, starting from Adam in the first heaven to Abraham in the seventh heaven. These encounters were filled with wisdom and inspiration. Ultimately, the Prophet reached Sidrat al-Muntaha, where he spoke directly with Allah.
After this celestial journey, the Prophet Muhammad returned to Mecca. When he recounted his experience to his people, their reactions varied between believers and skeptics. For the believers, this event greatly strengthened their faith.
