في أعماق الصحراء القاحلة، بين أروقة الزمن، تُحيي المملكة العربية السعودية أحد أهم أيام تاريخها: “يوم التأسيس السعودي”. في هذا اليوم، كل عام، يعيد السعوديون ذكريات ومجداً تجاوز الزمن نفسه.
كان ذلك في عام 1727 عندما أراد الإمام محمد بن سعود، بعيداً عن صخب العالم الخارجي، أن يؤسس كياناً يجمع الشتات ويمضي بالأمة نحو الوحدة والاستقرار. تحت رايته الخضراء التي أصبحت رمزاً للأمل والقوة، بدأ الإمام رحلة بناء الدولة السعودية الأولى، التي شكلت أساساً للمملكة العربية السعودية الحديثة.
إحياء هذا اليوم ليس مجرد طقس أو احتفال؛ إنه استذكار لقصة من الكفاح، والصمود، والطموح. في هذا اليوم، تُغنى الأناشيد الوطنية، وتُزين الشوارع بالأعلام، وتُقام الفعاليات التراثية والثقافية التي تعكس عظمة تلك المرحلة. يتدفق الناس من كل حدب وصوب ليشاركوا في الفعاليات والاستعراضات العسكرية والمعارض الفنية والمهرجانات التي تروي حكايات الأجداد وكيف صُنعت المملكة بدماء الشجعان.

It was in 1727 when Imam Muhammad bin Saud, far from the clamor of the external world, sought to establish a state that would unite the scattered tribes and lead the nation towards unity and stability. Under his green banner, which became a symbol of hope and strength, Imam embarked on a journey to build the first Saudi state, which laid the foundation for modern-day Saudi Arabia.
Commemorating this day is not just a ritual or a festivity; it is a remembrance of a tale of struggle, resilience, and ambition. On this day, national anthems are sung, streets are adorned with flags, and cultural and heritage events are held to reflect the grandeur of that era. People from all walks of life come together to participate in events, military parades, art exhibitions, and festivals that narrate the stories of ancestors and how the kingdom was forged with the blood of the brave.
